The Director of Sales – Western Canada will be responsible for leading the region in the sale of our Digital Marketing Software and Digital Advertising solutions.
A business-building role, you will represent 360.Agency and establish the foundation of our sales practice for the entire region, hire, train and retain staff and play a pivotal role in developing excellent customer relationships with all new and existing business clientele through a team of Territory Managers (software sales) and Media Directors (digital advertising sales) with automotive dealers within the region.
Responsibilities consist of sales management duties and will include managing client business relationships, ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are developed and executed all while achieving and surpassing sales targets.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the National VP of Sales and Business Development as well as collaborating with their Director of Sales peers across the country, and/or other departments as required.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Represent 360.Agency within the region and act as brand ambassador within the automotive industry for the firm.
- Collaborate with the National VP of Sales & Business Development and 2 other Regional Directors of Sales to develop 360.Agency’s sales and business development culture
- Manage a team of 3 Territory Managers (software sales) and 2 Media Directors (digital advertising sales) in support of the attainment of sales and retention objectives for your region
- Ensuring that your team is fully staffed, onboarded, trained and tooled to demonstrate and sell our entire suite of products and deal effectively with client objections
- Support and coach your team in meetings with clients, demos, closings and contract renewals and plan for the attainment and surpassing of monthly sales targets
- Gather information on competitors’ prices, products and developments
- Assist in closing sales contracts with new customers and upsell new products and services with existing customer
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years minimum experience in B2B sales management with 10 years minimum experience in a quota carrying B2B sales/territory management role
- Demonstrated experience in business building, ability and stature to developing business practices and establishing the sales function within a large territory.
- Demonstrated/measured ability to drive performance in a team with consistent attainment and surpassing of sales objectives (quota)
- Demonstrated ability and ease in preparing and delivering product presentations
- Automotive industry experience not a prerequisite but an important asset
- Competence in closing sales and comfort with solicitation calls

- Competence in negotiation
