Provides leadership and expertise in management, creation and review of academic accommodations programs for students living with a disability, to promote academic success and student retention. Oversees the development and rollout of continuous improvement strategies and initiatives for academic accommodations and related services. Works with the SASS units, as well as faculties and services, to provide outstanding services to students living with a disability, whether permanent or temporary.
Master’s in education or recognized equivalent
Thorough knowledge of academic accommodations in a postsecondary setting
Five years’ progressive managerial experience in an educational setting
Experience in offering services to students living with a disability, preferably at the postsecondary level
Experience in continuous improvement projects and change management pertaining to academic accommodations
Ability to influence and lead
High degree of discretion and sound judgement
Bilingualism – French and English (spoken and written)

Temporary assignment or contract of 8 months, with possibility of renewal. Eligibility to benefits will be determined upon hiring. This position is excluded from all union accreditation units.
