Job Overview
We are currently hiring an experienced and dependable Painter to join our team in Etobicoke, ON. The successful candidate will work on a variety of commercial and residential painting projects, delivering high-quality finishes while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming walls, ceilings, doors, and trim.
- Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Perform both interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial projects.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas before painting.
- Ensure clean, precise, and high-quality finishes.
- Mix and match paint colors as required.
- Maintain painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and keep job sites clean and organized.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a commercial and/or residential painter.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and various painting techniques.
- Experience using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
