Colbecca Care Partners Inc. is seeking compassionate, dependable Home Care Aides / Community Support Workers to provide personalized, non-medical support to adults and seniors in Edmonton, Sherwood Park, St. Albert, and surrounding communities.

This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking flexible caregiving work, including experienced caregivers, community support workers, educational assistants, and post-secondary students with relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Provide respite support for clients and their families
- Assist with non-medical activities of daily living and routine personal support
- Prepare simple meals and assist with meal routines
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, walks, recreational activities, and community outings
- Support clients with maintaining independence and participating in their communities
- Provide medication reminders only; no medication administration
- Follow each client's individualized care plan
- Complete clear and accurate visit notes after each shift
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and Colbecca Care Partners
- Follow company policies relating to privacy, safety, boundaries, and client dignity
- Report concerns, incidents, or changes in a client's condition promptly
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home care, respite, disability support, senior care, education, or community-support experience is preferred
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working independently in clients' homes and community settings
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and instructions
- Current First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain before beginning client assignments
- Successful Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required before working with clients
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Reliable means of travelling to client locations
Position Details
- Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Flexible scheduling
- Casual/part-time opportunities with the potential for additional hours as our client base grows
- Daytime, evening, and weekend availability may be required depending on client needs
- Client assignments are based on compatibility, availability, location, and care needs
