Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an experienced DZ Flatbed Driver on behalf of a respected steel fabricator client. If you're a safety-focused professional with a strong work ethic and experience transporting structural steel or other heavy materials, we'd like to hear from you.
This is more than just a driving position. We're looking for a team player who is willing to lend a hand in the shop when deliveries are complete. If you enjoy staying active and being part of a hardworking team, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- No weekends
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a DZ flatbed truck for local deliveries.
- Transport structural steel and other heavy materials.
- Properly strap, secure, and inspect loads to ensure safe transportation.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as required.
- Support shop operations when not on the road, including:
- Material handling
- General shop cleanup and organization
- Assisting team members with day-to-day tasks
Qualifications
- Valid DZ Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 5 years of DZ driving experience.
- Proven experience hauling structural steel or other heavy materials.
- Strong knowledge of load securement, strapping, and transportation safety requirements.
- Excellent safety record and commitment to safe work practices.
- Physically capable of handling materials and assisting with shop duties.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
