IT Systems Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to all employees and resolve user problems/issues , maintaining appropriate service level agreements
  • Provide support for hardware, software (Microsoft Office, Active Directory, VPN, MS Exchange, Office 365, etc.), phone and cell phones….
  • Monitor, prioritize, assign and complete user support requests using ticketing system (Trackit and Netcare)
  • Setup, deploy and upgrade new hardware (SCCM).
  • Ensure data security requirements are part of daily procedures and in the execution of all duties
  • Assist with network (WAN, LAN, Firewall) and server (Vmware-SAN) upgrade
  • Assist with application testing, following pre-defined test plans and guidelines for GxP compliance
  • Assist with various projects, including researching new technology, testing, deployment and documentation
  • Cross train staff and other IT Staff
  • Guide, monitor and supervise IT Staff, ensuring company goal’s and objectives are met
  • Create and update documentation on I.T. processes and procedures
  • Support asset inventory, conducting regular audits for hardware and licenses
  • Monitor the health of our network infrastructure and reports on KPIs (Backup, VeeamOne, Symantec, Phone, WSUS…).
  • Monitor and ensure all processes are documented as defined for the infrastructure qualification
IT Systems Analyst Required Skills:
  • College or University degree in Information Technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills
  • Current MCSE certification
  • ITIL Foundation certification (Higher ITIL or equivalent credential will be an asset).
  • Minimum 5 years proven experience of work and compliance in a qualified GxP environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience providing Customer Service using a ticketing system
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory and managing all users’ needs
  • Proven experience with Network, WAN, LAN and Firewall
  • High degree of professionalism and ability to work both in a team environment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and set priorities with excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy required
  • Ability to delegate tasks to other team members, while monitoring progress and ensuring completion.
  • Flexible and able to work various shifts to meet the requirements of our evolving business needs, including occasional evenings, 3pm to 11pm and occasional weekends.
  • On-call after regular hours support provided on a rotational basis, one week at a time (via cell phone).
  • Experience in any aspect of Microsoft SQL will be an asset (server management, database, queries, optimization, etc.)
  • Experience with telephony, IP phones, SIP and NEC phone systems will be an asset
