professionals, Armour is presently seeking a Director of Rooms at Barrington Hotel.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Rooms will be responsible for overseeing the
Front office, housekeeping and laundry operations and staff.
As Director of Rooms, you’ll get to:
- Lead the rooms team to meeting guest satisfaction targets; Front office, Laundry, and
housekeeping;
- Reviews reports and financial statements to determine Rooms operations performance
against budget;
- Coach and support operations team to effectively manage occupancy and rate, labour
and variable expenses;
- Develop and implement property-wide strategies that delivers products and services to
exceed the brand’s target, while providing a return on investment to the owner and
company;
- Champion the brand’s service vision for product and service delivery;
- Communicate a clear and consistent message regarding departmental goals to produce
desired results;
- Develop and execute clear cleaning standards that exceed guest expectations and
maintains the hotel product.
- Oversee an effective and efficient laundry production line. Provide support and
guidance to laundry team.
- Develop and execute the necessary decisions to keep property moving forward toward
achievement of goals;
- Monitor and promote room rates, specials, and promotions at the hotel;
