At DFI, our Shop Labourer will provide assistance to our Burn Table Operator and to our Welding team in the shop.
Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm with the possibility for overtime
Wage: $2 per hour premium for the evening shift.

Use industrial grinding equipment to remove slag and surface imperfections from helical components to meet quality standards.

Execute precise bends on steel parts to achieve specific pitch requirements and engineering tolerances.

Safely offload and organize various sizes of steel components from the CNC Burn Table, ensuring parts are staged correctly for the next production phase.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to shop maintenance protocols and safety standards.

Proven experience with industrial grinding and deburring tools.

Prior experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts is an asset

Ability to read a tape measure with high accuracy and follow technical specifications.

A proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.

Ability to handle heavy materials and remain active on the shop floor for the duration of the shift.
