Position Overview:
The Warehouse/Inventory person is responsible for receiving, verifying, storing, and shipping parts as required by different projects, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, and supporting capital projects. The role also includes handling system entries, quality control, and coordinating shipments for various treatments and project deliveries.
Major Responsibilities:
- Receiving Parts from Suppliers
- a) Receive and inspect parts for damage.b) Verify quantities and part types against purchase orders.c) Reject damaged items and report issues to purchasing.d) Enter received parts into the system.e) Organize parts in storage, release to production, or allocate to projects.
- Preparing Orders for Shipping
- a) Pick and prepare parts for customer or special orders.b) Ensure parts are identified, organized, and photographed.c) Pack parts securely for transport.d) Process allocations and shipping entries in the system.e) Prepare and print shipping documents.
- Capital Project Preparation & Shipping
- a) Select parts based on project drawings.b) Identify, organize, and deliver parts to required areas.c) Build crates and securely pack components.d) Attach documentation and coordinate container shipments.
- Inventory & Record Control
- a) Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.b) Ensure all parts are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.
- Warehouse Maintenance
- a) Keep the stockroom clean and organized.b) Sweep the saw area and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
- Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, with 1 to 3 years in a related role.
- Experienced with MRP systems, inventory control software, and MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bilingual, French and English.

Physical Demands & Working Environment:
Physical demands: Standing for long periods of time, bending, lifting, crouching, walking, able to lift heavy objects, excellent manual dexterity, operates cranes, operates forklifts.
Working environment: Production area with metal dust, dirt, grease, subject to noise.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
