Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying primer / paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications. This role offers opportunities to work on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and industrial sites, utilizing a range of painting techniques and tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion of paint and coatings
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and power tools
- Follow detailed directions and execute painting plans
- Drywall touch ups
Qualifications
- Proven experience in new construction and renovation painting
- Ability to communicate and text
- Can roll and use a sprayer
- Ability to read blueprints and follow directions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and spray equipment
- Strong understanding of construction projects planning processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments including restoration projects
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and working at heights
Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
