Are you passionate about making a difference, impacting an organization’s success, working within a positive team environment, and possess strong integrity and analytical skills then we have the role for you. You will be responsible for making and executing pricing decisions to optimize the retail gross margin dollars and share of market.
You will use your expertise to:
Provide analytical support and expertise on retail pricing activities, processes and related projects
Understand and utilize over 100 processes in the implementation of precise execution of price changes 365 days a year
Prepare and analyze reports and information to improve pricing tactics and find opportunities
Monitor processes and recommend improvements, while training back-ups to ensure continuity
Oversee daily processes to ensure system precision by identifying system and process failures and informing the proper support group
Collaborate with our retail associates as well as field sales force pertaining to notification of pricing decisions and authorization of pricing moves
Ensure accurate maintenance of the pricing database

Must-haves (minimum requirements):
Experience in retail, wholesale or business to business
Full fluency in English and French (Bilingual)
A self-starter attitude with strong analytical skills and you take the initiative to trouble-shoot and solve problems as they arise
Proven communication skills (French/English) to allow you to collaborate and partner effectively in order to achieve the best results and deliver the most value
Strong attention to detail, and you are well organized and do not tolerate shortcuts
Alignment with our values
Oil and gas experience
Knowledge of the overall retail petroleum market in Canada as well as specific knowledge of individual markets across Canada and Colorado
Knowledge of pricing information centre (PIC) system, voice Initiated price expedition reporting (VIPER), and SAP systems
Where you’ll be working, your work schedule, and other important information:
You will work out of our Downstream head office in Mississauga, located at 2489 North Sheridan Way
This role has an eight hour shift rotation within our working hours. Hours of operation include Monday to Friday between 6:00 am to 9:00 pm, Saturday, Sundays and Statutory Holidays between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Should your regularly scheduled day fall on a Statutory Holiday you would be expected to work that day with time off in lieu
