Valley Home Improvements is a family-owned construction company based in Markdale, Ontario. We specialize in custom homes, additions, major renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, decks, windows, doors, siding and other residential construction projects.
We are looking for an experienced Residential Construction Team Member to join our crew.
This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with practical residential construction experience who can work independently on assigned tasks, contribute to the team, and take pride in doing quality work.

Responsibilities
- Assist with residential construction and renovation projects
- Framing, demolition and general carpentry work
- Install windows, doors, siding, soffit and fascia
- Assist with decks, additions and interior finishing
- Load, unload and move materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a team
- Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Produce quality work and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven residential construction experience
- Experience with a variety of residential projects such as framing, renovations, siding, windows, doors, decks or interior finishing
- Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day
- Comfortable using common construction tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual
Requirements
- Valid driver's licence
- Valid Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working at heights when required
- Basic hand tools including tape measure, speed square, chalk line, hammer and toolbag.
- CSA-approved steel toe boots
- Must live within commuting distance of Markdale
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
