Our growing team has an immediate opening for a Junior Structural Engineer. Our projects include residential, commercial and industrial projects.
· Eligible to work in Canada, Permenant residence, or Canadian citizen
. Registered EIT with APEGBC or similar organization
· Bachelor Degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
· Coursework in structural analysis, timber design, concrete design, steel design, dynamic analysis
· Knowledge of BC engineering practice and regulations
. Familiarity with EGBC requirements, guidelines and standards
· Proficient with Canadian Building and Material codes
· Experienced in residential, commercial and industrial projects.
· Able to communicate with client, contractors and fellow team members in an effective manner
· Able to write reports and letters at a high level.
· Organized and have good planning skills
· Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
· Experience with structural analysis software such as SAP2000, Etabs, SAFE
· Proficient with spreadsheet software and/or Mathcad
· Ability to multi task and meet tight deadlines
· Highly motivated
· Have valid Driving license and his own Vehicle
· Able to carry out site inspections as required
