Position Overview:
Do you enjoy staying active, working around motorcycles, and being part of a fast-paced team? Durham Harley-Davidson is looking for a motivated, dependable, and organized Lot Technician / Parts Runner to support our Sales, Parts, and Service Departments from July 7 to October 31, 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with one of Canada’s premier Harley-Davidson dealerships.
What You'll Do:
- Safely move and position motorcycles throughout the dealership, including motorcycles weighing up to 900 lbs.
- Wash, detail, fuel, and prepare customer and dealership motorcycles to the highest standard.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom, service drive, lot, and shop.
- Assist Service Technicians by moving motorcycles, staging work, and supporting daily shop operations.
- Support the Sales Department by preparing motorcycles for delivery, display, and customer appointments.
- Assist with dealership events, bike nights, open houses, and promotional activities, including setup and teardown.
- Help organize outdoor displays, trailers, and event equipment.
- Perform general housekeeping and other duties required to keep dealership operations running efficiently.
- Support all departments as needed.
What You Bring:
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping motorcycles looking their best.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's license required.
- Motorcycle license (M2 or M) is required.
- Motorcycle experience is an asset but not required—we're willing to train the right person.
