About the Role
Pledge Transport is looking for a motivated Sales Agent to join our growing team. This is a remote opportunity for someone who has sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to bring in new business.
The ideal candidate will have existing customer relationships or the ability to prospect and develop new accounts in transportation, logistics, warehousing, distribution, or related industries.
This role is best suited for someone who wants flexibility, strong earning potential, and the ability to grow with the support of an established transportation company.
Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new customer accounts.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Identify transportation, logistics, warehousing, and distribution opportunities.
Generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and existing relationships.
Work with Pledge’s operations, dispatch, and pricing teams to provide customer solutions.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding rates, service options, and shipment needs.
Follow up on quotes, opportunities, and active customer accounts.
Help grow long-term business with new and existing customers.
Requirements
Previous sales experience preferred.
Transportation, logistics, freight brokerage, warehousing, or supply chain experience is an asset.
Existing book of business is an asset but not required.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable with cold calling, email outreach, and customer follow-up.
Self-motivated and able to work independently from home.
Must be comfortable working on a commission-based structure.
Professional, reliable, and customer-focused.
