BCIT's School of Business is seeking temporary, full-time and part-time Instructors to prepare, deliver and administer Marketing courses in the Marketing Management Department. The job may include, but is not limited to:

MKTG 1102 - Essentials of Marketing
MKTG 1219 - Professional Sales Skills
MKTG 3343 - Sales Management
MKTG 3348 - Global Sales Skills
RMGT 3535 - Marketing for Insurance and Risk Management

These courses are taught September through December 2019 to BCIT's full time day-school students. Ideal candidates thrive in a collaborative and collegial working environment, have a breadth and depth of subject matter expertise and current and extensive industry experience in marketing and sales, and are able to inspire and motivate adult learners to achieve academic success. Ideal candidates are inspirational, innovative and collaborative, and have post-secondary teaching, administration and program development experience for both in-classroom and distributed learning, plus industry experience in one or more marketing roles, an extensive network of business contacts, and involvement in relevant industry associations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred; only candidates with a degree credential will be considered for an interview.
A minimum of five years' experience working in North America in one or more marketing roles.
Post-secondary teaching experience, with a minimum of five years preferred.
An established network of relevant professional contacts.
Excellent English-language communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent skills using Microsoft Office and online digital media and mobile tools.
Ability to work effectively in a collegial environment.

Salary Range:
$53,566 to $93,828 per annum. Prorated based on term of appointment.
