We're Hiring: Tire Technician for our Auto care Company
What You’ll Do:
Tire Installation & Replacement:
- Mount and balance tires on vehicles, ensuring proper alignment and pressure settings.
- Remove worn tires and replace them with new or repaired ones.
- Inspect tire tread depth and wear patterns to determine tire replacement or repair needs.
Tire Repairs:
- Patch or plug tires that can be safely repaired.
- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment to avoid damage to tires.
Vehicle Inspections:
- Perform tire checks during regular vehicle inspections, advising customers on the condition of their tires.
- Recommend replacement when necessary, based on industry standards and vehicle safety requirements.
Maintenance & Equipment Care:
- Maintain tire service equipment (e.g., tire changers, balancers) to ensure proper function and safety.
- Ensure workstations and tire storage areas are clean and organized.
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines while performing tire services.
- Follow all safety protocols, and maintain a clean, safe working environment for the technician team and customers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in tire servicing or automotive repair
- Basic knowledge of tire types, brands, and specifications.
- Ability to lift heavy tires and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tire mounting, balancing, and repair tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
- Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools for repair tasks.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Communicate with customers about repair needs, provide clear explanations of services, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- A valid driver's license.
