We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. Duties
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to determine project specifications.
- Perform drywall installation and finishing tasks.
- Execute flooring installation with precision.
- Engage in masonry work as needed for various projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
- Conduct concrete forming for foundations or other structures.
- Estimate materials required for construction projects accurately.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
- Knowledge of construction estimating techniques is preferred.
- Familiarity with caulking methods is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Commitment to maintaining safety standards on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
