We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Chrome Plating Technician to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Prepare metal parts by cleaning, masking, and setting up for chrome plating processes using hand tools and power tools
- Operate chrome plating equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring proper thickness, smoothness, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain equipment by performing routine cleaning, calibration, and minor mechanical adjustments
- Assist with assembly and machining tasks as needed to support production flow
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve process efficiency
- Document process parameters and quality checks accurately in production logs
Requirements
- Prior experience with chrome plating or metal finishing is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cranes, and forklifts safely
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality inspections
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments and lean manufacturing practices
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality assurance
- Ability to work in a team environment while following detailed instructions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Experience:
- Chrome Platting: 1 year (preferred)
