Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors professionally at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Manage multi-line phone systems, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries efficiently
- Maintain and update electronic medical records-Experience with OSCAR Pro and Oceans
- Verify patient insurance information and process billing or payments as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Prepare and organize patient charts, reports, and other documentation for provider review
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations of the medical or dental office
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Office Administrative Assistant
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, Oscar Pro, Avaros
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare documentation practices
- Excellent office experience including front desk duties, multi-line phone systems, and administrative tasks
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in medical administration is a plus

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
