Data Evaluation & Impact Measurement Analyst

Job Summary
The Data Evaluation & Impact Measurement Analyst leads the organization’s efforts to assess program effectiveness, measure social impact, and provide data-driven advice to leadership. This role is responsible for analysis, KPI development and tracking, impact reporting, and translating findings into recommendations for management and external stakeholders. The position also oversees data visualization and dashboard development to support clear communication, informed decision-making, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage frameworks for monitoring, evaluation, and impact measurement across programs and initiatives
Analyze program and organizational data to assess outcomes, effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement
Define, track, and report on KPIs , performance indicators, and outcome metrics aligned with strategic goals
Provide advice to management by translating data findings into actionable recommendations
Lead impact analysis to demonstrate program value to leadership, funders, donors, and partners
Create and maintain dashboards, visual reports, and stakeholder-facing data interfaces
Present findings in a clear, compelling way for both technical and non-technical audiences
Collaborate with program teams, leadership, fundraising, and external stakeholders to understand reporting and impact measurement needs
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems and reporting processes
Support grant reporting, board reporting, strategic planning, and program improvement efforts
Identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities through ongoing analysis
Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the organization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Policy, Economics, Social Sciences, Business, Public Administration, or related field
4+ years of experience in data analysis, monitoring and evaluation, impact measurement, or performance management , preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization
Experience developing KPIs, outcomes frameworks, and management reports
Strong ability to synthesize analysis into strategic recommendations for senior leadership
Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Advanced Excel skills; SQL or database experience is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate impact to varied audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the nonprofit, NGO, foundation, education, healthcare, or social impact sector
Familiarity with grant reporting, donor reporting, and program evaluation methods
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative evaluation approaches
Experience working with CRMs, case management systems, or program databases
