At Spectra, we're committed to delivering high-quality aluminum products through innovation, teamwork and continuous improvement. With five manufacturing facilities across Ontario, our Maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.
We're looking for a licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to join our growing Maintenance team. In this role you'll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, install new machinery and help improve the reliability of our manufacturing operations. You'll work alongside Production, Engineering and fellow Maintenance professionals to minimize downtime and keep our operations moving.
Our facilities operate across multiple shifts, so successful candidates must be able to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation with shift assignment determined based on business needs and candidate availability.
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
- Install, align, commission, dismantle and relocate production machinery and equipment.
- Complete equipment rebuilds, modifications and repairs to improve equipment performance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.
- Safely operate cranes, hoists, jacks, forklifts and other lifting equipment during maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
- Travel occasionally between Spectra facilities to support maintenance projects and preventative maintenance activities.

Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate of Qualification.
- Experience maintaining manufacturing or industrial equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment.
- Welding, machining, fabrication or PLC troubleshooting experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives is considered an asset.
