PPG is searching for a Customer Service Rep - Technical Advisor to join the team!

The primary objective of the CS Rep-Technical Advisor position is to respond to customer and consumer inquiries for retail and store sales including social media, for the territory from Newfoundland to British Columbia. PPG's customer service mission is to provide an optimized service to its French- and English-speaking Canadian customers. It is therefore important to serve customers in one or the other of the two official languages recognized in the country, without communication difficulties. The holder of the position must be available for evening and weekend work.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Customer Service - Technical Support. Your responsibilities will include:
Answering technical questions, providing recommendations on the use of our products, colour recipes, advice, administering complaints and providing information of all kinds to consumers and store employees on the whole range of products offered by PPG for all regions of Canada;
Locating for consumers, retail agents of products marketed by PPG;
Collaborating in the execution of your tasks with the various departments;
Any other related tasks or not, delegated by the superior.


DEC or equivalent;
Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in the field of painting (an asset);
Knowledge of office software (Microsoft Suite) and database;
Knowledge of the SAP environment (an asset);
Excellent command of written and spoken French;
Perfect command of written and spoken English;
Focused on customer service;
Meticulousness and perseverance;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Have a good sense of urgency;
Autonomous and organized;
Strong capacity for judgement and analysis.
