Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:

Picks stock from zone locations (upper and main levels) to complete orders for customers

Utilizes an RF scanner for picking requirements

Prints labels and places identifiable totes containing orders on the conveyor through our inventory management system

Receives product efficiently and accurately, collaborating with purchasing department for any discrepancies
-
Prints labels and places bulk items in smaller containers for put away
-
Organizes and puts away products using predetermined zones
-
Places products into zones using a dolly or pallet jack
-
Conducts daily cycle count of inventory as per reports
-
Confirms number of items picked into inventory system using a handheld device
-
Packs product ensuring accuracy of contents and professional appearance of shipments
-
Builds skids to be sent to customers

Communicates daily progress to Warehouse Managers/Executive Management team

Observes safety regulations i.e. working in a safe manner and wearing the required safety attire at all times

Maintains good housekeeping including reports of any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Highschool (current student or graduate)
-
WHMIS and Safe Lifting knowledge is an asset
-
Forklift experience is an asset
-
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Physical/Mental Demands:
-
Regularly lift/move objects that range from 10-55 lbs
-
Frequent walking, crouching, climbing, carrying, reaching, standing, pushing, and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly

Capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
