Millers TIMBER MART is expanding our delivery team and looking for a dependable, safety‑driven DZ Driver to support lumber and building‑material deliveries across the Ottawa Valley.
About the Role
You will operate DZ‑class delivery trucks, complete daily inspections, load and secure materials, and deliver to residential, commercial, and contractor job sites. Professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service are essential. This role requires a strong focus on driving skills and maintaining a high standard of professionalism on the road.
Responsibilities
· Safely operate DZ‑licensed delivery trucks
· Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain logs
· Load, secure, and unload lumber and building materials
· Deliver to job sites throughout Renfrew County
· Communicate with dispatch, yard staff, and customers
· Assist with yard operations when needed
· Ensure vehicle is clean and well maintained, and ready for daily operations
Requirements
· Valid DZ License with a clean driving record
· Prior experience operating heavy vehicles/trucks is preferred
· Ability to lift and handle heavy materials
· Experience with building materials or construction sites is an asset
· Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
· Strong communication and customer‑service skills
· Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience:
- Commercial driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Air Brake Endorsement (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
