Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Counter Clerk to join our team. This role involves managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and supporting procurement processes within a dealership or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with supply chain systems to ensure efficient parts management and excellent customer service. This is a farm machinery based business
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating and purchasing parts through in-person interactions or over the phone
- Maintain accurate records of parts sales and inventory using our Spire software
- Process purchase orders and manage procurement activities to ensure timely availability of parts
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing and negotiation of parts procurement
- Perform data entry related to inventory levels, order processing, and supply chain documentation
- Support demand planning activities by monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the parts storage area
- Provide mechanical knowledge to assist with technical questions related to parts specifications or applications
Experience
- Prior experience is highly preferred, especially in farm or heavy equipment sectors
- Proven experience with data entry, purchasing, and supply chain management processes
- Familiarity with Spire software, and demand planning tools is advantageous
- Knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and procurement practices within manufacturing environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm, manufacturing, or industrial equipment is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members

Pay: $17.20-$36.34 per hour
