Why is this role important?
By Supporting the Project Management team, they are required to:
Work closely with Project managers to deliver various projects on time and on budget
Assist in the creation of project plans, Charters, Business cases, milestones, roadmaps, Gantt charts, story boards, project presentations & communications
Document working committees, brainstorming sessions and contribute to steerco meeting preparation
Manage project and resourcing tools to ensure that workflows are setup correctly and all information is up to date
Assist in the gathering and analyzing of data and financial metrics as related to projects.
Conduct primary and secondary research to identify industry trends and opportunities aligned to current business needs & strategies
Conduct post-mortem analysis to determine learnings for subsequent projects
Provide any additional project coordination services including leading special projects and ad hoc initiatives as required
Job Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 3 years relevant retail, operations or project management experience
Passion for operations and, Reflective of Loblaw CORE Values and Blue Culture
A passion for problem solving and able to seek out opportunities for quick improvements
Effectively communicate ideas and actions with confidence & clarity
Adapt positively to a fast paced, constantly changing work environment
Strong team player with self-discipline and motivation
Superior technical skills (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, SharePoint, SAP, ECC)
Highly organized with excellent project, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills
Influence and work in a collaborative manner
Manage/update budgets, KPI’s, milestones and reports
Certificate or training in Project Management & Six Sigma Green belt would be an asset
