As a Junior Account Manageryou will support our Commercial sales efforts in Canada through a solutions leadership approach; securing and building distribution, providing value added service, executing marketing plansand improving Gross Margin.

What you’ll do

  • Contribute in the development & implementation of commercial strategies that align with company goals & objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Work directly with the National Commercial Sales Manager - Canada to effectively manage client relationships
  • Support in identifying and acquiring new commercial customers (Licensed Producers)
  • Understand the needs of existing commercial LP’s to ensure they are met & these accounts are optimally supported
  • Support in monthly S&OP forecasting and quarterly ‘Rocks’ (Goals) tracking
  • Make technical presentations (live or on-line) and demonstrate how a product meets client's needs
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education & demonstrations
  • Assist after-sales support services and provide technical back up as required
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using KPI’s & prepare reports for senior management
  • Conduct market research & analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion & business development)
  • Documentation of SWOT analysis based on market feedback
  • Work closely with other internal teams (sales, marketing, customer success, etc.) to ensure the company’s goals are achieved
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures related to the role
  • Capture data, improvements and any R&D possibilities are documented following facility visits
  • Monthly travel to visit commercial accounts (up to half the calendar year), with emphasis on Eastern Canada accounts
  • Attend trade shows in Canada, and as needed, in USA

Who you are and what you need to succeed

  • Strong ability to communicate, both orally and written
  • Proven ability to solution sell to customers
  • Technical knowledge/aptitude and ability to sell accordingly
  • Analytical abilities focused on planning, forecasting, tracking and measuring
  • Sound computer skills, with an emphasis on G-suite
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, such as SalesForce and HubSpot

This is a remote position, and the location is flexible.
