Position Overview: To be a key member of the Dealer Support and Quality Assurance Team, following the principles of the Company.
As the Service Parts Manager you will provide leadership to the Service Parts teams, including Coordinators, Purchasing, and Warehousing as well as provide top quality Dealer Support for service parts inquiries and growth.
Main Tasks
- Oversee day to day Service Parts Operations including Procurement, Warehousing, Dealer Order Processing, Shipping, invoicing, etc.
- Annual budgeting of Service Parts sales for all sales warehouses
- Monthly review of all KPI’s for Service Parts Dept. monitoring for compliance and/or non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
- Presenting monthly achievements compared to Goals/KPI’s.
- Management of departmental ISO 9001-2015 requirements.
- Implement Annual Continuous Improvement Strategies for the department.
- Monitor sales trends to manage Parts inventories, review back orders, working with Procurement team to expedite with Vendors to reduce customer wait times.
- Liaise with Publications and Product Support Managers to ensure Dealers have the most correct information for parts, repair instructions.
- Manage Annual Parts return Program, set return allowances per policy.
- Manage Procurement purchase orders over $5000 for approval.
- Manage and Monitor Warehouse parts stock levels, drive for 3x inventory turns on an annual basis.
- Ensure warehouse cycle counts are completed and accurate with warehouse supervisors.
- Control Service Parts inventory levels to achieve desired annual inventory turns while achieving sufficient Dealer Fill Rates.
- Grow the Service Parts Business by implementing new initiatives and adopting new offerings to our Dealer network.
- Meet with Dealers to understand specific regional needs and look for future sales
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Aftermarket Parts Sales, Procurement & Distribution is required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Warehouse operations, including inventory counts, cycle counts, layout, shipping/receiving operations, etc.
- Supplier management and international shipping and distribution experience
- Departmental budgeting
- Dealer network support
- Forecasting service parts demand and inventory optimization
- Obsolescence management
- Demonstrated experience with Key Metrics of Fill Rates, On Time Shipping, Cycle Counts, etc.
- Valid drivers license and passport
- Ability to travel is required
Working Conditions:
This is a fast paced environment with seasonal demands for customer bases around the globe. Some travel may be required to visit our Service Parts Warehouses and Dealers.
