Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic VR Arena Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing an engaging and safe virtual reality experience for guests of all ages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer service, enjoy working with children, and have excellent communication skills. As a VR Arena Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring guests have a memorable visit while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Explain VR experiences and safety guidelines to guests of all ages
- Operate VR equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
- Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and adherence to rules
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest questions and concerns
- Manage guest flow, including scheduling and managing group sessions
- Handle cash transactions accurately for admissions or merchandise sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the VR arena area
- Assist with food service or hospitality duties if applicable
- Engage with children and guests through friendly interaction and public speaking when necessary
Requirements
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude
- Excellent communication and public speaking abilities
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to remain attentive, patient, and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift light equipment as needed
- Enthusiasm for virtual reality technology and gaming is beneficial
- Prior experience in guest services or entertainment venues is advantageous
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
