Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food service operations, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests. Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Organize and store clean dishes and utensils efficiently for easy access by kitchen staff.
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment at all times.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes to keep the kitchen tidy.
- Support other kitchen staff with additional duties as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of food preparation and handling procedures.
