Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 310T Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with heavy and industrial equipment, and the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of machinery. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work with diverse equipment including excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, trucks, trailers, and more. The 310T Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet and equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, and trucks etc..
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete maintenance tasks
- Assist with assembly, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
- Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance and reliability
- Perform annual safeties using the DriveON equipment
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment and industrial machinery
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and schematics
- Experience with heavy equipment operation, truck and trailer maintenance
- Skilled in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair and general maintenance practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients or internal teams. Pay: $30.00-$48.71 per hour
