Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook with a minimum 3 years experience to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow sanitation procedures and maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Support meal preparation for various service periods, including lunch and dinner shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to efficiently execute meal preparation under time constraints
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and food presentation techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and restaurant operations
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates with relevant skills
