- RECE Toddler Summer Program Educator (July 6 - August 21)
- Summer Program (Float) Educator (July 6 - August 21)
- Casa Lead RECE (September 2026 - June 2027)
In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, including those with special needs or disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, classroom experience, and a genuine love for working with children. Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Collaborate with families, colleagues, and specialists to support individual children's needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and daily activities
- Support children with disabilities or special needs through tailored instructional strategies
- Use effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members
- Utilize computer skills for record-keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes
- Manage classroom routines efficiently with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrate leadership in guiding children’s behavior and encouraging positive interactions
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards
Requirements
- Valid registration as an RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) or equivalent credential for Toddler Summer Camp Educator and Casa Lead.
- Montessori experience is required for Casa Lead.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday from July 6-August 21 for Summer Camp
- Toddler Summer Camp Educator works 7 hours a day, Float works 5.5 hours a day.
- Experience working with children in early childhood settings, including classroom experience
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Computer operation skills for documentation and instructional purposes
- Childcare experience combined with leadership qualities and a caring attitude
