Position Overview
As a Registration Services Associate , you’ll assist the Senior Manager, Conference & Registration Services, and our registration talent. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely website launches, prompt responses to shared inbox inquiries, and meticulous proofreading of all published content. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks, anticipate challenges, and execute flawlessly will be critical.
Roles and Responsibilities
Registration
Manage the end-to-end registration process for conferences, including:
Support efficient operations and timely website launches
Setting up and maintaining registration systems
Processing registrations
Responding to attendee inquiries via shared inboxes or by phone promptly and professionally
Manage and follow up payments
Update registration manuals and prepare briefing documents
Help manage the go-live schedule for websites
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
Print and co-ordinate name badges and other onsite items
Coordinate with marketing teams to promote events, design conference materials, and manage attendee communications
Cross check hotel rooming lists
Attend meetings, prepare agenda and take minutes
Stay informed about industry trends related to registration
On-Site Execution
Assist with on-site registration management, help handle any issues that arise, and support a seamless experience for attendees
Help with the setup and breakdown of the registration area to meet specific event requirements
Post-Event Analysis
Assist in preparing post-event reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event planning, business administration or a related field
1-2 years of experience in the events industry, registration, data-management, or related field
Must have proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel, as well as registration management software
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
Strong customer service skills
French speaking is an asset
Benefits
Salary ranging $45,000 - $50,000 annually
