Recharged Industries is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our growing transportation team. This position is responsible for safely transporting access mats, heavy equipment, construction materials, and oversized loads throughout Western Canada while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
This role requires an individual who takes pride in their equipment, enjoys working in a team environment, and is comfortable working at remote project sites in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 tractor-trailer combinations, including:
- Hi-boys
- Lowbeds
- Step decks
- Super B combinations
- Secure loads in accordance with National Safety Code (NSC) and company standards
- Perform daily pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Complete electronic logbooks and transportation documentation accurately
- Maintain compliance with Alberta and federal Hours of Service regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and field crews to ensure efficient deliveries
- Assist with loading, unloading, and staging of equipment when required
- Maintain trucks and trailers in clean, professional condition
- Report mechanical concerns promptly and assist with preventative maintenance scheduling
- Represent Recharged Industries professionally when working with clients, landowners, and project stakeholders
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Alberta Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Clean commercial driver's abstract
- Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience
- Experience operating manual transmissions (18-speed)
- Ability to work extended hours and rotational schedules
- Willingness to travel throughout BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Climb on trucks and trailers safely
- Secure loads using chains, binders, and straps
- Work outdoors year-round
- Perform physically demanding work around heavy equipment

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
