The Role:
The role is a broad cross-functional role with a global scope and encompasses delivering firm's diversity & inclusion commitments to clients and both internal and external global campaigns.
The incumbent will work closely with D&I leaders and senior stakeholders globally to consult and engage them. They must possess exceptional communications, relationship building, data analytics and project management skills, and be able to build consensus across a broad range of stakeholders with varying views and opinions.
Responsibilities
Global Communications and Events
Write and coordinate globalinternalcommunications and campaigns for global DE&I awareness dates such as International Women's Day, International Day of People with Disabilities, IDAHOBIT, etc…. Includes drafting communications and selecting appropriate imagery and coordinating with regions to deploy through appropriate communication channels.
Drive and co-ordinate all global D&I virtual events (internally & externally with clients), including event marketing, invitations and registration, making recordings available, and coordinating multi-region CPD accreditation where relevant.
Lead external global communications campaigns on significant global DE&I awareness days and initiatives. Includes collaborating with digital to maintain a strong and cohesive brand and leveraging our social media platforms.
Manage thecoordination ofglobal D&I meetings, global employee network meetings and any other sub-group meetings.
Support the regional D&I Leads on all global initiatives, including communications, branding, events, etc.
Maintain, update and continue to develop the global D&I pages on the intranet and the external website with new and revised content, including data, materials/resources and DE&I blogposts.
Coordinate the creation of and contribute to white papers and resources for distribution internally & externally, building on our brand as a leader in diversity & inclusion in both the legal and business community.
Global projects:
Lead and support multi-region projects.
Conduct ad-hoc research when required - either locally specific when a region requires support or globally for a new global initiative.
Contribute to the firm's thought leadership on DE&I by contributing to the internal diversity blog.
Global Internal Reporting and Analytics
Manage global benchmarks annual reporting submissions.
Coordinate multi-region award submissions.
Support the creation of the (quarterly) Global Executive Committee and Global Supervisory Board reportingand data analytics.
Create regular internal impact reporting.
Global Client Reporting
Act as a central resource and create content for global(more than two regions will be classified as global)client tenders and client data reporting.
Centrally coordinate and project manage global requests from clients relating to targets and measurements, annual DE&I reports and statements and requests for multi-region collaboration on DE&I.
Maintain and continue to develop suite of internal and external resources on engaging with clients on DE&I.
Skills and experience required
Experience of diversity, equity and inclusion within legal or professional services in a global context is preferred but not essential.
Experience in internal and external communications, including understanding of how to engage a variety of audiences at a global level.
Experience of working on multi-region or global projects in a complex organizational model is highly desirable.
Experience of understanding the global context around demographic data collection, data analytics and the ability to tell a story using objective and subjective information.
Strong problem solving, negotiation, collaboration, presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using resolution / problem solving skills and a team focus.
Ability to handle diverse responsibilities and can adapt to a variety of issues in a variety of settings.
The successful candidate will be creative with the ability to be "hands on."
