Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role involves performing tire replacements, routine oil changes, and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate eager to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, and repairs with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs according to manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as brake inspections, filter replacements, and basic repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Support sales efforts by informing customers about additional services or products that meet their needs
Requirements
- Prior experience or mechanic background is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining safety standards
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory; must be able to operate vehicles if required
