Overview
AmuseYeux is hiring one upbeat, reliable support person to assist during live illustration activations in Toronto waterfront-area parks, starting June 23rd. You’ll help keep the activation smooth and welcoming by supporting guest flow, light logistics, and simple photo/video documentation.
Role details
- Location: Toronto parks near the waterfront (easily accessible by TTC)
- Start date: June 23rd
- Schedule: 3 sessions per week (currently)
- Shift length: ~3 hours
- Contract length: Through early fall (weather-dependent outdoor activations)
- Pay: $20 - $23/hour
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, answer simple questions, and help maintain a friendly, organized flow
- Support queue/line management and keep the energy positive
- Assist the artist with small needs during sessions (supplies, timing, quick errands)
- Cover the activation during washroom breaks / refreshment runs
- Take photos and short video clips during activations
- Help with basic setup and teardown; some carrying may be required

Nice-to-haves
- Experience with street teams, brand ambassador work, events, hospitality, or customer service
- Photography/video instincts (even casual)
Requirements
- Available starting June 23rd
- Able to stand/walk for a 3-hour shift and work outside
- Comfortable engaging curious passerby
- Smartphone access for communication + photo/video capture
