Our Brokering Risk Solutions team is comprised of two individuals whose focus is New Business Development in tandem with the Commercial Sales team to strategically place our clients and prospects with their best suited insurer. We are a high energy, sales driven organization with a passion for our clients.
The Commercial Brokering Associate position will complement our existing team and will be actively involved in all aspects of marketing/placement with insurers for our Producers in conjunction with our Senior Marketers. This is an entry position which will evolve with experience.
- Entry of Carrier Submissions to be sent to market
- Maintenance of our insurer data base, including contacts and company appetites
- Assist Marketing team on day to day business
- Research and running reports on prospects
- Assembly of proposal documents
- In house quoting
- Running marketing reports
- Updating BMS with client information
- Maintaining proposal documents
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications;
The successful candidate is a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment. A minimum of 2 years insurance experience is required; CIP, CAIB would be an asset or working towards completion. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, with great attention to detail, and be proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of EPIC would also be an asset.
