Are looking for experienced Servers to join our Front Of House team.

Our Award wining Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen Restaurant, one of Niagara's most exciting and charming destinations and one of the top ranked restaurants in the City of Niagara Falls. Located inside the Historical Old Stone Inn

Is actively seeking experienced and motivated Servers– experts who live service standards daily wanting to create a positive guest experience through interaction, putting guests first, making guests feel at home and creating an engaging environment in the restaurant.

Our Servers are extremely knowledgeable about all food and beverage items in the restaurant. By adhering to the steps of service they answer questions, provide recommendations and create a positive guest experience. Servers maintain a clean section and monitor food quality to ensure all items are held to the restaurant’s presentation standards. Through knowledge, accuracy and efficiency our Servers provide the upmost satisfaction to our guests.

What we need you to do:

  • Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
  • Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items in order to make recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy when entering information into the POS Maître D system
  • Monitor food quality and presentation standards
  • Monitor the cleanliness of section, table, service stand and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter
  • Ensure tables are ready for guests before they are seated and maintained
  • Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies
  • Complete opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely
  • Anticipate guests’ service needs by actively listening and responding positively to guests’ questions, concerns and requests in an effort to resolve issues, delight and build trust
  • Communicate to all Managers any comments or information provided by guests to ensure a positive, memorable experience
  • Lead team by example to exhibit, encourage and motivate (teach what you know, learn what you don’t)
  • Compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulation and follow OSI as well as Health and Safety policies and procedures

What we would like you to bring to our Boutique Hotel:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a fast passed, high volume, fine dining restaurant setting
  • Wine service, table side experience
  • Spirits savvy, knowledge of base cocktails and new trends
  • Ability to promote local Wines to international tourists
  • Knowledge of Cuisine presentation and descriptive
  • Confidence and ability to manage 5-6 tables at one time
  • Flexible schedule between AM and PM
  • Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends, holidays and special events
  • Smart Serve Certification a requirement
  • Computer literate in Point-of-Sale software (Maître D)
  • Able to create loyalty
  • An individual who poses an affinity for superior guest service and going beyond expectations
  • Providing phenomenal guest experiences resulting in lasting memories for our guests
