Total Horizontal is a full-service Shallow Utility Contractor that specializes in providing safe, efficient, and reliable services to our clients around Western Canada. We are currently hiring for a project in Sherwood Park.
Total Horizontal is seeking Construction Labourers for Shallow Utility Construction. Increased wages dependent on experience and aptitude. Additional training provided with tenure.
Experienced hands will have:
- Experience working around Utility Construction Equipment
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Smart Phone and data for HSE & QA Systems
- CSTS 2020, fundamentals and modules
- WHMIS 2015
Responsibilities
- Dress for all types of weather
- Follow directions as given, and retain training
- Ability to take measurements
- Proofing ducts & installing cables
- Install subsurface structures
- Backfill and compaction, and site remediation
- Raking, shovelling, carrying
- Driving trucks and trailers
- Operating concrete saws, core drills, jumping jacks, trenchers
- Spotting equipment
- Working with drill crews to prep work
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
- Additional duties as job required
Monthly tool allowance.
Many opportunities for advancement with on the job training in respect to operating Directional Drills & Locators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Hydrovacs
