Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various products and components, ensuring high-quality standards are met. This role requires mechanical knowledge, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment. The Painter will play a vital part in maintaining the aesthetic and protective qualities of our products, contributing to overall manufacturing excellence.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Apply primer, paint, coatings, or finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform quality inspections to ensure paint application meets specifications
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and handling of hazardous materials
- Assist in assembly processes when required, supporting lean manufacturing practices
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
