Leader: Managing Director, Digital Marketing
you will be a key contributor in delivering ATB's social media strategy, creating, publishing and monitoring engaging social content and supporting ATB's mission in ?making IT possible? for our clients. Reporting to the Social Media Marketing Manager within Reputation and Brand, this role will be an important contributor in our Digital Center of Expertise. This role will work in partnership with digital strategists, marketing experts, content producers, writers and designers to create engaging social media content, sharing it and monitoring the results.
The successful candidate will have an intuitive, up-to-the-minute feel for the major platform's algorithms based on recent first-hand experience of managing active, growing social channels, most likely within a digital publishing or brand environment; and the ability to turn that knowledge and data into clear actionable direction for content creatives and producers.
The Social Media Coordinator is creative, curious, customer-focused and collaborative. You are excited about the challenge to support the creation and publishing of engaging content that connects to the right people at the right time. You are a burgeoning champion of the sweet spot.
Actively follow and engage with social media accounts of ATB ambassadors, partners, stakeholders, and community members.
Provide guidance to the Social Media response team who monitor and respond to direct messages, mentions, hashtags, comments, etc. Follow protocols in monitoring for negative feedback and escalating as applicable.
Create social media posts. This will include writing social copy, curating content, and basic graphic design, as well as working with writers, designers, and strategists where applicable.
Identify and share timely and relevant ATB partner, stakeholder, and key community member content to be shared from ATB's social media channels.
Use Social Media Marketing tools (SMM) to build social media reports and listening projects as required.
Provide insight on audience preferences, content performance, opportunities and more.
Working with the social media manager, acquire and track permissions for user generated content (UGC) from ATB Ambassadors, partners, stakeholders, and key community members.
In collaboration with the Social Media Manager, train co-workers to use social media publishing, reporting, listening in a cohesive and beneficial way.
Assist in developing optimal posting schedules considering campaign, client engagement, and social media metrics.
Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
Be a champion of ATB's differentiated experience. Ensure the brand voice and personality is communicated consistently across all social media channels.
Provide support in additional digital marketing initiatives as required including web publishing, email marketing and other digital marketing support.
Relevant post-secondary education and 3+ years hands on experience managing social media channels and executing organic and paid social campaigns.
Deep knowledge and understanding of all relevant social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and other emerging platforms.
Experience utilizing social media management, publishing, advertising (especially Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads Manager) and monitoring tools to understand performance to continually improve and optimize to generate conversions.
Experience running hands on social media campaigns, managing social media budgets, social ad buys, social video and stories, A/B testing, target audience segmentation, social media pixels and re-targeting/re-marketing all within various social media platforms.
Verifiable examples of social media marketing expertise and successes.
Experience in managing both B2C and B2B social media campaigns is an asset.
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing and technical literacy and proficiency in all areas of Google Suite.
Creative, organized, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.
Strong analytical skill and reporting skills with the ability to synthesize data to make recommendations and improvements.
Excellent communication, consulting, presentation and writing skills.
