Operate the Front of House and Monitor consoles to maintain the audio mix as established in rehearsals/sound check.
This position pays $16.00 per hour.
Assist in the setup and strike of all assigned event and production equipment.
Operate the Front of House and Monitor consoles to maintain the audio mix as established in rehearsals/sound check
Maintain all technical elements as set during the rehearsal/technical period; ensure quality of show or event is maintained to the standard set out by directors and management
Troubleshoot technical problems at the discretion of the Technical Supervisors
Maintain at all times a positive rapport with all guests and employees in the Park, whether it is during a performance, or during a personal encounter while out in the Park
Ensure that all safety standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to by staff and contractors as set out by the Department
Notify Supervisors of maintenance needs and assist in equipment maintenance/repair as required. Learn and master all assigned equipment, its operation, and maintenance procedures
Take proper care of all assigned equipment and before each use and ensure that the equipment operates properly and safely. Conduct daily safety checks and report any damages, malfunctions, and irregularities to management
Assist with maintaining an inventory of equipment and equipment accessories. Report any shortages to Management immediately
Ensure effective communication between crew, Supervisors, and Managers
Abide by all Canada’s Wonderland policies and procedures as set out by the Park and the Entertainment Department. Ensure that all safety standards and practices are met
Perform all duties as assigned by Entertainment Management and Supervisors. Daily duties will include the cleaning of the break room and associated backstage areas, maintenance of equipment, meetings, and notes sessions
Must pass all interview requirements
Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a post-secondary theatre program with an emphasis in sound, or have comparable technical theatre experience
Previous Park experience is an asset
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
Dependable and enjoy working in a guest oriented and team-based environment
Available to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
