PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT ANIMATOR

NATURE OF THE WORK
The personal development and indigenous community involvement consultant advises school principals on how to express and promote students’ personal development dimension, including inner life and diversity (religious, cultural, sexual or physical, etc.) and fosters students’ personal development in various activities, including community involvement activities. He or she provides advice and assistance to the administration in integrating the personal development and community involvement service into the complementary student services programs as well as organizing and implementing the service in various schools. He or she promotes the personal development and community involvement service by supporting the needs of personal development and community involvement animators, in particular, by contributing to their ongoing training. He or she contributes to harmonizing the quality of services offered in various schools.
SOME CHARACTERISTIC RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialty that consists mainly of courses in the following areas: - facilitation, social science, Indigenous studies
