About Us
Wahdan Contracting Ltd. is a growing construction company specializing in residential and commercial projects throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. Our services include demolition, concrete work, retaining walls, interlocking pavers, excavation, site preparation, landscaping, renovations, and general contracting.
We are looking for hardworking, reliable, and motivated General Labourers to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, learning new skills, and being part of a team that takes pride in quality workmanship, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist with demolition and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with concrete, retaining wall, and paver installations.
- Perform excavation support and site cleanup.
- Follow site safety procedures and company policies.
- Work effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform other general construction duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is an asset but not required.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
- Experience operating skid steers, compact equipment, or power tools is an asset.

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekends as required
- 8–10 hour shifts
