Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced DZ/AZ Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods across various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This role requires a strong focus on operational safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management to support our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with DZ/AZ licenses to transport freight and cargo to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports for each trip.
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery or forklifts as needed for loading and unloading cargo.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Skills
- Valid DZ/AZ Commercial Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
