Supportive Steps Services is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and client-centred Registered Social Worker (MSW) to join our growing team.
We are looking for a clinician who enjoys working with couples, parents, teens, and adults and who is passionate about helping clients develop healthier relationships, improve communication, navigate life transitions, and build meaningful and sustainable change.

About the Role
The successful candidate will provide individual, couples, and family-focused therapy to clients experiencing a variety of concerns, which may include:
- Relationship and couples concerns
- Parenting challenges and parent-child relationships
- Communication difficulties
- Anxiety and stress
- Self-esteem and confidence
- Life transitions and adjustment
- Family conflict
- Emotional regulation and coping
- Grief and loss
- Adolescent and teen concerns
- Workplace and life stress
- Trauma and other mental health concerns
The clinician will have the opportunity to develop a caseload that aligns with their clinical strengths, interests, and areas of expertise.
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW)
- Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Professional liability insurance
- Experience providing psychotherapy/counselling to individuals, couples, families, parents, and/or adolescents
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and client-centred practice
Clinical Experience
We welcome applicants with training or experience in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Family systems approaches
- Attachment-based approaches
- Mindfulness-based interventions
- Trauma-informed therapy
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
- Play Therapy or expressive approaches
- EMDR or other specialized trauma therapies
Additional certifications and specialized training are considered an asset.

Pay: $60.00-$95.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 20.0 per week
