Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated General Labourer to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on position providing a variety of residential and commercial property services, including window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, painting, Christmas light installation and general exterior property maintenance.
The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable using ladders and tools, takes pride in their work and provides excellent customer service. Previous experience is an asset; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior window cleaning
- Clean gutters and downspouts
- Perform pressure washing and exterior cleaning services
- Assist with interior and exterior painting projects
- Install and remove seasonal/Christmas lighting
- Perform general property maintenance and other home-service tasks
- Safely set up and use ladders, hand tools, power tools and cleaning equipment
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Protect customers' homes, landscaping and property while completing work
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers
- Complete scheduled jobs efficiently and to a high standard
- Maintain and organize tools, vehicles and equipment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Ontario Working at Heights certification preferred
- Previous experience in window cleaning, property maintenance, painting, landscaping, construction or a related field is an asset
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically able to perform outdoor work and lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual and hardworking
- Professional and friendly when dealing with customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are assets
